Gary Benfold warns us against the lowering of the Biblical discernment threshold that the charismatic movement seems unable to avoid inflicting upon its adherents.
If Sam Storm was familiar with Scripture, he would know that not all fulfilled prophecies are from God (Matt 7:21-23), and not all visiting spirits are from God. In my local area, there is a growing spiritualism movement, even amongst Catholic groups, seemingly blending some aspects of the Gaia philosophy, though I could be misunderstanding them. Such charismatic movements are rather scarey.
